For our last weekend with our dear friends Lille, we have embarked on a little road trip in Tamil Nadu. Thanks to "Ganesh Motorworks" (the God of the bike!) We now party to the assault of Indian roads aboard two Royal Enfield mythical, two mopeds autremob and a little bigger, a Bajaj 100cm3.
The Royal Enfield motorcycles are very much alive that have kept their looks from the '50s. That of Tonio, brand loyal, had a gear shift to English, that is to say completely reversed compared to European models (Yes that English should always do everything in reverse! ).
By so careful not to confuse the brake with the gearshift, steering Pondicherry, under the "pétarradement" feature of Enfield.
Just arrived, history to add a little spice to the weekend, Tonio we did it for the failure, or rather the flat! But this Saturday, August 15 was the day of the national holiday in India, blow hard to find a repairer. After extensive research, it was finally repaired, or so we thought ...
After a good night's sleep spent in Auroville and some sores (Fred was stung 22 times by mosquitoes at night, and Anthony was burnt with the exhaust), here we go again!
Anyway once again it was not funny, not adventures! Tonio was still flat rear tire and must repair it as quickly as possible to return to Mamallapuram. This time, change the tube, which ultimately will not take more than 30min, PHEW!
Under the sweet music emitted by our beautiful bikes, we cross several villages and enjoy the beautiful scenery to make some breaks swimming and picnicking.
Polytech Thanks for these nice pens!
Ah this one is the most beautiful, right? In any case it makes noise!
